Garam masala, which means hot spice mix in Hindi, is a spice mix whose ingredients and proportions vary from region to region in India. The further south we go in India, the hotter the mixture becomes. The term "hot" refers when the spices in the mixture produce heat in the body and not so much in how spicy it is. TRS Garam Masala has a mild taste and aroma and adds warmth, sweetness and a floral and soft spicy note to meat, fish, vegetable and legume dishes.
TIP: Use it towards the end of cooking. You can also sprinkle your food with garam masala for more aroma.
